The following page is a summary of our German website and is intended to give you some basic information.
History
The founder of the company, Dr. Gustav Klein (1892 - 1954) has for many years been carrying out research work on herbal drugs and their processing into herbal remedies.
He was Ordinary Professor and Head of the Phyto-physiological Institute of
the Vienna University. He is the author of many scientific publications and especially
his “Manual of Plant Analysis” comprising six volumes is nowadays to be found
in many scientific libraries.
He was manager of the “Pflanzensaftwerk Schönenberger” in Magstadt/Germany
where he started to develop herbal medicinal products.
On
01.10.1946 he and his wife founded the pharmaceutical company Dr. Gustav Klein.
Today, this family enterprise is run in the second generation by his daughter
and son.
So far, the majority of the company's products was distributed in Germany. Some exports went to customers in other European countries, among them Portugal or the Ukraine.
We are committed to further strengthening our international business and take every opportunity to launch our products in new markets.

Our herbal medicinal products cover a wide range of indications from Cardiac Troubles and Gastro-Intestinal Complaints to Psychic and Nervous Disorders and Diseases of the Urinary Tract and the Prostate. Some of them have been on the market for more than 50 years.
